I'm going to list some of the most common acronyms/lingo in this post so you can confidently navigate your way through conversations with healthcare professionals and better understand your options.

ART - Assisted Reproductive Technology

RE/REI - Reproductive Endocrinologist / Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility

TI - Timed Intercourse

IUI - Intrauterine Insemination

IVF - In Vitro Fertilization

FET - Frozen Embryo Transfer

ICSI - Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection

PGD/PGS/PGT - Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis / Screening / Testing

HSG - Hysterosalpingogram

SIS - Saline Infusion Sonogram
